Subject: Error in the mediamanager root namespace
Hi,

For some time now, I can't select or see all the images in the mediamanager when I try to add an image in the root namespace. The first picture appears normally but the second one gives an error just like this:

picture1.jpg (500×26 2009/04/01 22:11 2.6 KB) (View original file) (Delete) (Edit Metadata)
picture2.jpg (160×230 2009/04/01 22:11 13.3 KB) (View original file) <a href="/wiki/lib/exe/mediaman

The weird thing is that I still can add images in this namespace (I can see them on my ftp server), and the others namespaces works as well.

Anyone can help me? Thanks in advance!!!

I'm currently using the version 2009-2-14 of dokuwiki on a PHP 4 server. Some more info: This function was working since I installed dokuwiki in 2007 until last year, but it stopped working suddentlly so it wasn't related to an update or something like that. I made a backup and reinstalled the Wiki, but with the same results. If you want another info, please do tell me.

I can workaround this issue using others namespaces that isn't the root namespace, but it's a little annoying.

Thanks for your time.

Hello,

I'm getting a comparable error. On a specific name space the media manager does not list all media files. It stops at a PDF file after listing many other PDF's, DOC's, JPG's, etc.. The next file that should be listed is a PDF too. There are loads of files in that name space, but we have others that contain even much more files and all is good there.

I looked into the code with Firebug and here's the excerpt of the last 2 entries. As you can see the last one does not contain the btn_media_delete functionality at all. I don't get the delete button shown, the line "Use the following syntax to reference this file: {{:teams:example:example_document_2.pdf}}" is missing too in the last entry.

<div class="even">
    <a class="select mediafile mf_pdf" name="h_teams:example:example_document_1.pdf" style="cursor: pointer;">example_document_1.pdf</a>
    <span class="info">
        (
        <i>2008/05/27 16:41</i>
        1 MB)
        </span>
    <a target="_blank" href="/wiki/_media/teams:example:example_document_1.pdf">
        <img class="btn" title="View original file" alt="View original file" src="/wiki/lib/images/magnifier.png"/>
    </a>
    <a class="btn_media_delete" title="teams:example:example_document_1.pdf" href="/wiki/lib/exe/mediamanager.php?delete=teams%3Aexample%3Aexample_document_1.pdf&sectok=256d78c91f62b677dcc9e136b0a7d391">
        <img class="btn" title="Delete" alt="Delete" src="/wiki/lib/images/trash.png"/>
    </a>
    <div id="ex_teams_example_example_document_1.pdf" class="example" style="display: none;">
        Use the following syntax to reference this file:
        <code>{{:teams:example:example_document_1.pdf}}</code>
    </div>
    <div class="clearer"/>
</div>

<div class="odd">
    <a class="select mediafile mf_pdf" name="h_teams:example:example_document_2.pdf" style="cursor: pointer;">example_document_2.pdf</a>
    <span class="info">
        (
        <i>2009/09/15 14:14</i>
        580.2 KB)
        </span>
    <a target="_blank" href="/wiki/_media/teams:example:example_document_2.pdf">
        <img class="btn" title="View original file" alt="View original file" src="/wiki/lib/images/magnifier.png"/>
    </a>
</div>

I also can add files, they are being uploaded in the proper media folder on the server.
