Subject: help needed: sidebar menu/submenu on monobook template
I am new to Doku and have been on-n-off reading/searching for a week and got nowhere.
here is what I have:
1. a totally closed site hosted on linux at home, using the latest dokuwiki, via https
2. monobook template
here is my problems:
want to have something like following, with menu and submenu with more descriptive names (not just short, lower-case namespace names), as in wiki:navigation page, but i don't know how to make menu (tried indexmenu, indexment2, navi, all used namespace for menu items, not pretty)
**Linux**
* LAMP Applications
* Open LDAP
* Postfix/Webmail
* Other Applications
* wiki:linux:tips
**Windows**
* wiki:windows:tips
**Work Related**
* Great Lakes Electric
* wiki:work:unix
* Database
* [[wiki:work:db:oracle|Oracle]
* DB2UDB
* MySQL
* Shell Scripts
my 2nd question is related to <code> </code> block, it would be nice to have different color backgrounds as in pmWiki. I am using <box></box> as a workaround.
thanks for your help
