Yes but it's easy to intall Nicedit
Thx a lot =)

But i 've some mistake happens :

1/ I've the TWO toolbar on my screen (original Dokuwiki ToolBar + Nicedit Toolbar)
2/ The up and down arrow, that permit to expend and collapse edit box doesnt Work
3/ Nicedit Edit Box don't have Fix Height, so we have to scroll up to see the toolbar
4/ Table dont work fine
5/ The First Word after a header(title) is move up just next the title

Anyway, it's a good job, it's really i want. Nicedit is very better than FCK, and easy to integrate
Do you think you can (if you want help) fix problems i've seen?

Thx in advance

- OverWrite files on your server
- That all, nicedit is install?

Just a hint ;-).

You two might be interested in http://drop.io for hosting those files. It has some advantages over the ones you're using atm.

  - you don't need to register
  - you can update the uploaded file
  - no need to wait for a download
  - it's free too ;-)

As I said. That's just a hint.

I've also had a look at the code. The tables thingy might turn out to be a little difficult. But anyway, nice job so far. If I find some time I'd like to help to plugin-fy it :-).
Please add [SOLVED] to the initial thread subject if you feel your question has been answered.

But i 've some mistake happens :

Hi,

thanks for the feedback.

1. I haven't removed the upper toolbar yet. It will be removed later, when I check everything is stable.
2 and 3. It is a feature of NicEdit - it doesn't allow scrolling, and it extends the window to fit content automatically.
On NicEdit's forum there was a discussion on how to implement scrolling bar. I haven't checked into it yet.
4. Tables won't work, since I didn't care about them - in my wiki I use my custom plugin, which works only with two-column tables.
5. Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Can you give an example in wiki markup, so I can check in my wiki?

So, point 1 will be corrected later. I will look into points 2 and 3, and see what can be done.
Point 4 - we may reuse piece of code from some other editor, like DokuwikiFCK etc.
Point 5 - please, give an example of the problem.

thanks for the hint, Chi. And it will be really good idea to make a plugin from it, I'm not sure that I will have time for that, so your help will be really appreciated!

I'm planning in near future to optimize my additions a bit, so to make the code smaller, and hence - quicker to load.

Subject: html-tag
Hmm, can someone please tell me how to render the <html>-tags at the beginning and the end of the text?
They are missing and so dokuwiki does not render html but text.

HTML is enabled.

Or did I miss something?

Hi dabus,

html tags the way they were supported in Dokuwiki, are not supported in Nicedit.
The problem lies in the toXHTML function, which is responsible for stripping everything,
which is not needed. You can try to modify it. It is located in nicEdit.js file.
