Subject: dokuwiki is great
Just want to express my admiration of how nice dokuwiki is. special thank to the makers of the translation plugin. This plugin was the reason i switched over from mediawiki.

Where is the thank-you thread ? A part from donating money, what exactly can a thankful user else do to benefit the devs ? (like Blogging, writing reports etc.)

I'm glad you ask ;-). Sure, blog about it, tell your friends about DokuWiki, suggest it to colleagues....

If you want to help a bit more directly, help with improving the documentation.

i plan making a tutorial video (~5 minutes) about how to install dokuwiki on a hosted webspace.
Would such a video be helpful or exist there already a video tutorial section that i did not found ?

I agree with Horst, Dokuwiki is amazing!

I tried almost 8-10 wiki systems, and in terms of simplicity, ease of use, install and maintain, Dokuwiki is great!.

The plugins add to almost all the needs of extensibility, and the fact that Dokuwiki dev team incorporated a Plugins Management system to make it even easier to install plugins it's amazing.
