Subject: Images on edit toolbar not showing, path seems to be wrong
Hi all,

I installed DokuWiki and it was a quick process. Everything seems to be working except the tollbar on Edit/Create page screen. For some reason, image paths look like this:

http://mysite.com/dokuwiki/lib/images/toolbar/mono.png  (generates 404s)

when they should look like this:

http://mysite.com/lib/images/toolbar/mono.png  (images open fine)

How do I remove that dokuwiki prefix from images and other lib components?

Did you maybe set the $conf['baseurl'] configuration option?

Chi,

In my conf/doku.php, I have this:

$conf['baseurl']     = '';                //URL to server including protocol - blank for autodetect

and

$conf['basedir']     = '';                //absolute dir from serveroot - blank for autodetection

I never changed these values...

wiki itself resides in a /var/www/wiki/  directory.

Do you use rewriting? Maybe you have a wrong rewritebase setting?

No... no rewriting. Just a default .htaccess file is there. Seriously, how can everything work fine except the images on Edit screen? This must be a bug and not a settings mistake.

Is it a .htaccess or a .htaccess.dist? If it's the former could you post it's contents (The default .htaccess sets the rewrite base to /dokuwiki if uncommented).

Is your wiki online, can we have a look at it?
