Subject: Trouble with Media Manager Overwrite Function
Hello,
I am looking for some help, or for some clarification as to why I am having this problem:
I seem to be having with the Overwrite function in the Media Files manager window. My understanding of the overwrite function is that it allows me to replace the file that I've previously uploaded with a newer file of the same name. Usually this appears to work, although sometimes it does not.
I've found another post http://forum.dokuwiki.org/thread/465 in this discussion in which another user describes a similar problem, and they were instructed to try including a No Cache command in their filename to prevent the link on their Wiki page from leading them to an old version of their overwritten file. I've tried this and it seems to work..... sometimes.
Could someone please offer some insight as to why this might be happening, or a possible fix?
