pce The way my server is configured, we already rely on an Apache .htaccess configuration setting to pull user names, so we have no need to manually administer a user list and would like to rely instead on the $_SERVER["REMOTE_USER"] variable for that. However, this only seems doable when $conf['useacl'] is 0. Is there a way to set $conf['useacl'] to 1 and gain access to the administrative interface and the benefits of group controls without also having to do logins/registrations, relying on the information passed in via the REMOTE_USER varible?
