Subject: Plugin for mulitline unordered/ordered lists
I am looking for a plug in to convert selected multiline raw data into a list item having the line breaks converted to \\ .
This all should happen within the editor, by pressing a button, and the result should appear immediatly in the editor.

I have seen such an approach by using special syntax, but this is not what I am looking for.

Example:

this is raw data
in the editor.

After selection of both lines and pressing the new button, the editor window will show:
  • this is raw data\\ in the editor

Any idea/suggestion how to do this ?

The problem with this is: How should that "function" know that you want to have a new line instead of a second list item? If it should work like you want it will only create one liste item, regardless of how many lines you've select, it will convert them to \\.

That is exactly what I want, one list item having the same line breaks *within* the list item as the selected raw data. This is usefull for restructuring text pasted from other applications.
