Subject: CAS Authentication

Hello all,
I've been considering configuring one of our wiki servers to authenticate against our CAS server. Well, today I finally got around to trying. There isn't much available on configuring for CAS, but I did manage to get it working using two modified examples I found online, and by using the very awesome ggauth multiple authentication backend.

I'm going to be writing some sensible documentation on this tomorrow, unfortunately I don't see how it can be wrapped into a plugin, as it requires modifying a core file or two, but where should I write this up? Can someone suggest a spot on the wiki? Or should I just include it in the forum?

Authentication backends are documented on http://www.dokuwiki.org/auth. There you will find one for CAS already: http://www.dokuwiki.org/auth:cas. If your version differs, you should post your solution on the same page. Or better: Recommend/make changes in order to work on one single best solution.
