Just realized this while troubleshooting why some specific words in my wiki were not returned as search results. Apparently the search functionality fails to find any words in page text, containing capital letters, for some reason. Initially I suspected that it was caused by CamelType words, but I later realized that even words with the first letter capitalized are not returned as results. This happens whether I search with the exact case of the word or not.
I tested it with various words and as soon as I capitalized any part of the word, the search stopped finding the result. For some reason, Capitalized words in the text are found and highlighted if the title of the page contains the same word as well. So it seems to me that there's either something wrong with the indexing or with case insensitive searching.
I did check the index files to see if there's anything wrong there, and they seem to be ok. For example, I added the word "CapitalizationDoesNotWork" in the playground, and checking the index files I see it's there
$ cat w25.idx i25.idx
CapitalizationDoesNotWork
7*1
I am using release 2011-05-25 "Rincewind" running on Solaris 10 with apache2.
I looked around for any similar issue but found nothing. Any ideas appreciated.
