For this you could use the epub plugin. An epub is essentially a collection of xhtml files and its supporting resources in zip format. So, once your ebook is made, you can save it to your desktop, change the extension to .zip and extract the OEBPS directory. This will contain all of your pages in the Text directory, your styles in the Styles directory and the images in Images. If you click on a file in Text, it will come up in your browser fully formatted. So, for instance, you could place it in your local apache and access a page:
