Hi folks,
I'm a Tech Writer living in Seattle, WA and the company I work for is considering implementing DokuWiki for our Intranet. It would be nice to get some feedback on how others have done with this.
Thanks....

We currently use it for our company intranet (about a dozen offices spread over the country, with maybe a hundred actual users of the intranet). For general display of information, it's brilliant... for editing, by users who have no interest in actually sharing knowledge, it's pretty lacklustre. Not the fault of the software (well, the only real confusion is the similarity-yet-difference between the page hierarchy and the media hierarchy).
I reckon it's a good fit for a company with at least a few employees managers who are keen to share information. They're the ones who will bother to learn how to format, organise, and promote it.

I choose "it rocks" because :
-easy to setup
-lots of additional packages
-its mature
-easy to learn
-easy to maintain
-easy to get other people involved
Runs on almost every screensize!
Its very stable
Nice ACL
Nice forum and nice participants. When youre in trouble you realy get help!
Sure , there are some things to wish, but we should not forget it is a wiki for documentation and not an Erp package. If you have lots of money and other recources you could probably select something else.

I began using DokuWiki to control ISO 9001 Documents during Sept. 2014.
It works GREAT!
I was curious as to a follow-up from what your experience has been.
