Hi,
I'm a bit stuck trying to get the following scenario working without having to modify all of our files and/or end up with duplicate data all over the place.
System is Dokuwiki installed on a CentOS server running nginx & php. Everything is working peachy, got authldap working and I've set the datadir to point to one of our linux network shares to vacuum up all of our flat files that we use for keeping track of tech related data.
Issue is that because we're all working from centos, most of these files are extention-less text files, when I run 'file' against one of the files in question it comes up with 'ASCII English text, with CRLF line terminators' as the type. We can't simply re-save a lot of these files as .txt files for DokuWiki to pick up because we have scripts elsewhere which run periodically that use some of these files.
Is there any way of tricking dokuwiki into reading them without changing them all? A plugin somewhere perhaps or something similar?
Apologies if this has already been asked elsewhere, I tried searching the forums and couldn't find anything.
Cheers!

You could write a script which creates symbolic links to your files with the .txt extension.
dokuwiki/data/pages/document.txt -> /whichever/path/document
However, if document contains locally referenced media files, these will not link correctly.
