andrewsthilaire I've tried several times now to update since I have notifications to update "Hrun" 2014-09-29c, "Hrun" 2014-09-29d, "Detritus" 2015-08-10, and "Detritus" 2015-08-10a. I have the "Wiki Upgrade" plugin, it gives me the same result as when I upload the files with an FTP client - I get a blank screen after the update. Is this a common issue or have I done something wrong somehow? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Andrew St. Hilaire
andrewsthilaire I believe my PHP version is outdated at 5.2.17. I never even thought of this so thank you and I'll update the PHP now.
cabman I'm having the exact same problem. My php verison is "PHP Version 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.14." I started the installation with debian package 2013-05-10 and upgraded successfully to 2013-12-08, 2014-05-05 and 2014-09-29. The 2015-08-10 upgrading works until I copy the 'inc' directory to /usr/share/dokuwiki/inc. Then I get the blank screen. I turned on error logging in php but don't get a message in /var/log/apache2/error.log Any ideas on what it is or how I can troubleshoot? thxs
cabman Solution found :-) In the distribution there is a new directory 'vendor' that needed to be copyied to the /usr/share/dokuwiki directory. I figured this out by checking out the /tmp/php_errors.log file.
torkill turnermm:1440880132 wrote Detritus requires a minimum of PHP 5.3.3. Thanks! Changing to PHP 5.6 worked for me!
