moeditor CKGEdit is a great plugin, and an absolute must-have for my use case. I'm hoping someone can help me out with the below request: When uploading images or media files into the CKG editor, CKGEdit utilizes the "FCKeditor Resources Browser" for finding/uploading files (accessed through the images toolbar button > "Browse Server" button). I actually prefer Dokuwiki's default "Media Files" browser (accessed by clicking the images toolbar button in DW Edit mode), which is affected by my currently installed template and includes a search bar as well as drag/drop functionality. I was wondering how I could go about editing the CKGEdit plugin to use the Media Files browser instead. I'm not fluent in PHP or Javascript, however I am very good at following directions if offered :) . I appreciate any help anyone can offer, or a heads up if this isn't possible for plugin reasons.
turnermm I'm afraid that's not possible. You could use the Dokuwiki media manager to upload files; if you are using the DOkuwiki template, this is available from the tools menu at the top of the template. But you have to use the ckgedit file browser to insert files into your page.
moeditor Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, I expected it might be a requirement for CKGEdit to use its own resource browser. Thank you for letting me know for sure!
turnermm I recently announced a version of ckgedit that uses the native Dokuwiki media manager and link wizard. This may be what you are looking for: https://github.com/turnermm/ckgdoku/archive/master.zip
