Is there a way I can disable fetching of external images on my Dokuwiki? Users keep adding external images from non-HTTPS sites, which causes mixed content warnings on my site. I'd rather just have all images on my wiki come from the media folders so my users are not hotlinking other sites. Over the years this has been a huge problem as people's artworks have been lost when their image hosts changed things.
Alternatively, I guess the obvious question is: Since fetch.php is already a sort of image proxy, why doesn't it make every image it serves an HTTPS image? That would also help, at least with the warning part of the problem.

When your wiki is served via HTTPS then fetch.php is HTTPS as well. However when a user uses an HTTP link to an external image and your fetchsize conf does not allow for proxying the external content, fetch.php will redirect the browser to the given URL which is HTTP.
So your solution would be to increase the fetchsize limit.
