dmytro-pastovenskyi Hi, I am working in a company where we have website based on dokuwiki. It works great and we are happy with it. I was asked to implement search functionality and I was wondering what is the most native/simple way to do that? Could somebody give me a hint where I need to look? So far I found many plugins and not sure If it's a good idea to use any of them. Thanks.
fuchs-14 there ist already a search funcionally in stock dokuwiki I installed these plugins to make it more comfortable https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:searchtext https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:text
dmytro-pastovenskyi Could you please give me a direction (can't find) how to implement 'native' dokuwiki search? I would very much appreciate that. Thanks!
fuchs-14 thereĀ“s no need to "implement", do you use default dokuwiki template? There is already a searchbox in the header, istn it?
dmytro-pastovenskyi We have own template/theme. What I found that I should make a query like that domain.com/start?do=search&id=test and that should make a trick, it does not work right now and I'm looking why. Hope it's correct direction.
ach The search form which is implemented in the default and pretty much every other template can be added with <?php tpl_searchform(); ?>
