My DocuWiki setup has been running pretty smoothly, but it kept on reminding me that an update was available. So, yesterday I decided to go ahead with the upgrade. I went to the admin page and saw that there was an "upgrade" option. I followed the instructions and everything seemed to work OK, but I still saw the reminders to upgrade. I read here that this could be a cache issue that should go away in a day. So I waited, but nothing happened.
I then checked the dates on a few of the file in the wiki folder, and they all seemed to be older. Ok, so, I did a manual update. I downloaded the stable version of the Frusterisk (??) release, un-tarred it, and then simply copied the files over to the wiki installation, as I read that was the way to do it. So, all the files in the, for example, bin folder went into an "old version" subfolder, and the files from the un-tarred bin folder were copied into the folder.
I then went to the website and the first thing that I got was "Log out has been disabled". Weird.
I then shut off the computer, ran some errands and came back. When I click on the link for the wiki I have in my browser, it takes me directly to the first page, no login required. There are no more update messages, so I think the update is in place, but I do not have an option anymore to log out. Neither is there an option to go to the admin page.
I asked a colleague of mine to try this on his computer, and he gets the same thing, no log-out.
I can edit pages so I do think I am logged in as an admin, but I can't log out.
I have seen a number of posts of people that seem to have the same problem. Has this been resolved?
