What's the difference to DokuWiki's default TOC? It's just displayed at a different position. This can easily be achieved by adjusting the stylesheet.

It just doesn't look right, it's too narrow.

Pmwiki also does a decent job:

With dokuwiki, the lines all wrap around and it doesn't look right.
