Using phpinfo.ini
max_execution_time 120
I have changed in
C:\Bitnami\dokuwiki-20180422a-2\php\php.ini
max_execution_time 240
and after restart of Bitnami and then tried a reboot
and
Using phpinfo.ini it is still the same
max_execution_time 120
Is there some other file I need to change?

I don't know what the correct path is under windows but on linux systems there is a folder for your PHP config files e.g. under /etc/php/7.2/apache2/php.ini[/m]. I think in the DokuWiki installation folder is the wrong place. Maybe check where your PHP is installed. Or simply search for all [m]php.ini files on your harddisk. There may be more than one.
E.g. I have the following files:
- /etc/php/7.2/apache2/php.ini
- /etc/php/7.2/cli/php.ini
If I would change the settings in the cli folder, it would only affect PHP scripts started from the command line. If I would change the settings in the apache2 folder, it would only affect PHP scripts started by my apache2 webserver.
Sorry that I can't give more detailed information but maybe it helps.

Lars, that is helpful, I understand PHP is used for different purposes and needs different ini.
I found the following:
C:\Bitnami\dokuwiki-20180422a-2\php\php.ini has max_execution_time = 240 (was 120, and phpinfo.php show 120)
C:\Bitnami\dokuwiki-20180422a-2\php\php.ini-development has max_execution_time = 30
C:\Bitnami\dokuwiki-20180422a-2\php\php.ini-production has max_execution_time = 30
I did the search from
C:\Bitnami\
There is an C:\Bitnami\apache
I'll keep this in mind going forward. Thanks.

Hi,
is this problem solved?
If yes, please add the prefix [Solved] to the title of this thread so that people can see that it has got a final solution.
Greetings,

The problem was being created by SiteExport plugin which always runs out of execution time when running large jobs. The SiteExport problem was not solved.
I finally gave up on it after two + years and moved to Myron's Epub Extension which is working much much better. Thanks for your help.
