I've got the problem that I can't update my plugins cause the download of the packages fails.
First some info about my setup:
Dokuwiki release: Release 2017-02-19b "Frusterick Manners"
OS: SLES11 SP4
Webserver: Apache2 (2.2.12-64.1)
if you need any additional information, just ask I'll be more than happy to provide everything you need.
Communication to internet is going through a proxy server.
Communication through proxy works fine as wget on OS-site works fine with the download.
I found a forum post with a similar issue and there was a test.php-File described with the following content:
header('Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8');
$http = new DokuHTTPClient();
$foo = $http->get('https://github.com/rztuc/dokuwiki-plugin-authchained/archive/master.zip');
when I call this file in browser I get the following return:
string(59) "Failed to set up crypto for secure connection to github.com"
the problem is: I have absolutely no idea what this error means, cause I don't know how php works.
Seems to me as if the server would have a problem with SSL to connect to github.
Has anyone an idea on how to fix this issue?
I wanted to update my wiki to a newer release but first I need to update my "Update"-Plugin. :/
