I'm just looking at a page that has a change history containing lines like
2019-06-20 11:31 SAP Transaktionskatalog a.b.c.d +551 B (aktuell)
Another page has a line like
2019-06-24 09:11 [[diffView]] Einspielen von Servicepack-Stacks – [Termine 2019 auf Seiten SAP] kein Upgrade Werner Flamme (a.b.c.e) +58 B
where a.b.c.d and a.b.c.e are two different computers on the same subnet.
So the difference is that one page does not show user names, while the other page does. I edited both, and I'm always logged in. Neither of the six IP addresses in the first page's history is accompanied by a name, though at least 2 authors were definitely logged in, so that the name could be recognized and noted.
Can this behaviour be configured? And if yes, how? And if not, why do the history's forms differ?
Regards, Werner (using DW for several years now)

There are no different views.
When a user was logged in when editing, the user name is shown. When the user wasn't logged in, the IP address is shown.
When you are a super user, you can always see the IP (in addition to the user name if any).
