I am quite new to DokuWiki and I am struggling to find a solution to something I though would be quite simple.
I have got an XML tree generated by an external program (which someone else is developing). For the moment I can play with the tree by using an XML editor but I would like to include this tree in a DokuWiki. The puspose is that the tree remains dynamic, so that people can play around with it, exactly as they would have done using an xml editor. I've spent quite a long time on the net looking for a solution, without success.
Does anyone have any idea/suggestion? Maybe I am just missing something huge in all that, but, as I said, I am new to the DokuWiki world so sorry if this is the case. :)
You can upload the xml file to you media directory. First, however uncomment the xml mime type in conf/mime.conf. Now insert the file into your page, as you would any other media file, and when users click on the file name, they should get the xml (though this may be browser-dependent).
thanks a lot! What you suggested does work, indeed! :)
But it is browser dependent, as you said. And unfortunately the result is quite "ugly" compared to what I get using an XML editor (I tried with Firefox).
Well, I think I'll take it for now, while looking for a different solution or waiting for further suggestions.
Have a nice day!
