CKGedit: non-breaking spaces
I have set up my entities file to recognise non-breaking spaces as two consecutive dots ".."
This isn't honoured by CKGedit, the 'spaces' all get gobbled up so if I deliberately have a series of them they are removed!. It is quite important that nbsp are visible and also that one can enter more than one and they are honoured.
Is there a character sequence that it would recognise and leave visible?
Otherwise could I request a feature?
plugin and the
syntax, and best to leave a space between each
this~~SP~~ ~~SP~~ ~~SP~~ ~~SP~~that
p.s. the reason I had gone with the other method was because this plugin has a warning about not having been updated in 2 years. It's had to imagine it needs updating other than if a new version of DW is published maybe. So hopefully will be OK.
Hrrmph! I did install the plug in - I assume you meant this one:
I now have these warnings:
I have disabled for now as I can't have my readers raced with that. Can I get round it?
It's abit wierd as the plugin says there is an update dated 15.08.2007!
That can be easily fixed, but to begin with, those warnings shouldn't be showing up in your browser, but in the error logs. If they are, then your server is not set up correctly for a production server:
I made a copy with the necessary changes, attached.
Thank you again Myron. I will check about the server with the hosting company.
