tesan-man Hi - I've had a search but not found what I am looking for. I would like to create a plugin for an organisation that links to a MySQL based event calendar - so the plugin needs to read data from the MySQL table and display it on a particular page. I am happy writing PHP, just not sure how to get started. Any pointers would be most welcome. Thanks Martin
lpaulsen93 Did you have a look at the development section already? See https://www.dokuwiki.org/development. Then you could have a look at existing plugins source code which use SQL, e.g. https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:tagging.
tesan-man Hi I've had a look at the documentation and downloaded a SQL plugin and had a play around with it, and modified it to do what I want. But it only updates the wiki page when I edit the page and then save - is it possible to have a "live" link in a wiki page, ie a page that is updated each time it is accessed by a user? Martin
