Hi.
I recently got a new server (Ubuntu instead of MacOS) and I've been struggling overcome a persistent problem I cannot understand. I'm running Greebo 2018-04-22c, and PHP version 7.2.24-0ubuntu0.18.04.6.
I've got the rewrite engine on, so URLs look like: https://deseng.ryerson.ca/dokuwiki/mec325:start
. All is well, except it two circumstances.
Returning from edits. If I edit https://deseng.ryerson.ca/dokuwiki/mec325:start
, when I Save or Cancel, I am directed to https://deseng.ryerson.ca/dokuwiki/dokuwiki/mec325:start
. Notice the extra /dokuwiki
.
Redirections. I use the redirect
plugin. I have, for instance, a page called WDF
that is supposed to redirect to project workload distribution form
. Indeed, on the old server this worked. However now I am redirected to https://deseng.ryerson.ca/dokuwiki/dokuwiki/design:project_workload_distribution_form?redirect=1
. Again, an extra /dokuwiki
.
I note that in my configuration, both basedir
and baseurl
are set to '/dokuwiki'. I didn't change these in the new installation on the Ubuntu server, so I assume they came like this out of the box. I also note that our department's sysadmin installed the bare dokuwiki for me, so I don't know what they might have changed - nor can they remember.
I recognize that this might relate to the apache and not to dokuwiki per se.
But I'm stuck, and I thought I'd eliminate problems in DK before I dove into diagnosing apache.
Can someone suggest some avenues I might try to solve these problems?
