I've only used dokuwiki for a short time, and like almost everything else I have running, I'm doing it in a container (docker).
With the recent update though, those of us who do this ran into some issues. This apparently arose from the fact that "Dokuwiki it is not possible to separate the persistent data & the application code itself so basically the whole application is stored in the volume folder and do not support automated updates" (see discussion of the issue for the dokuwiki container I'm using).
I don't know how feasible this is, and I certainly don't have the skills to do anything about this myself, but I'd like to make a suggestion of separating different parts of the dokuwiki install a bit "better", so as to allow for upgrading via a docker image. I couldn't find a "suggestions" category, so hope it's fine to post here.
Cheers!
