I've set up dokuwiki to use as a blog. In blog posts like this one, I include images in this way:
{{00.jpg?400}}
This has the correct visual effect: the image is shown 400 pixels wide. The generated HTML looks like this:
<img src="https://avhn.us/lib/exe/fetch.php?w=400&;tok=8ff351&;media=blog:2017_eclipse:00.jpg" class="media" title="00.jpg" alt="00.jpg" width="400">
My problem is that the resource is still at its original size: in this case, 3120x3120. This is rather slow (and really hard on mobile data), and I don't think it's supposed to happen. My understanding is that dokuwiki is supposed to resize the image to the requested size.
My php doesn't seem to have gdlib, but I installed imagemagick and, after dealing with this issue, configured the im_convert path.
How can I configure dokuwiki to resize image resources to more reasonable sizes?
