Hello All . . .
A note about the 'CookieLaw' plugin.
On site load, this useful plugin displays a dismissible banner about cookie storage, as apparently required in some locations.
I've found that when the banner is dismissed, it (ironically perhaps) stores a permanent cookie with a 10-year expiry date in one's browser . . .
If you're not keen on permanent cookies, this behaviour, I think it can be changed within the plugin's ' script.js ' file.
The line :
document.cookie = 'cookielaw=1; path=/; expires=' + date.toGMTString();
can be changed to :
document.cookie = 'cookielaw=1; path=/; expires=DateTime.MinDate ';
As far as I can see, this works (but it does mean of course, that one's browser won't permanently 'remember' that the user has been shown the message)
