Yes. I posted a question about this a while back. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the correct place(s) in the plugin's PHP code where a change could be made.
I ended up using a 'brute force' method ( yes, it's very ugly, but it does work)
I tweaked the indexmenu.php file (in the plugin's 'syntax' folder) to replace the variable
$title
(where the indemenu link title is stored) so that after :
$title = htmlspecialchars($title, ENT_QUOTES);
$hns = $page;
//headpage found, exit for
break;
}
}
(roundabout line 600 or so )
I added (for example)
if ( $title == "earth_sciences" )
$title = "Earth Sciences" ;
- and so on for all the other menu entries.
I'm sure this is not a recommended practice - on the other hand, all the menus now show the nice friendly readable names
