I'm trying to manage the tools we use at work at one central page. Each piece of equipment has to be checked or calibrated on a regular basis and we need an overview of tools which are in use but need to be checked/calibrated. Also, every piece of equipment needs its own manual.
I created a schema :
id : page
name : text
nextmaintanance : date
I assigned this schema to tools : /tools:*(?!start)./
and used tools/start as the main form:
---- struct serial ----
schema: tools
----
If I enter a new tool "t5" at :tools:start
it will create a link in the table to :t5
instead of tools:t5
. Am I doing something wrong? Or can't this be done with Struct ?
Altering tools-data through a struct-table doesn't store it's revisions if I'm correct?
If I create a new tool through a direct URL : dokuwiki.php?tools/t6
etc and edit the struct-fields later, the revisions are stored but then the data doesn't show up in the aggregation-table? Also, that's not very user-friendly, people need a simple button (or the form on the serial-page) to add a piece of equipment. I feel like I'm doing something wrong?
In the Netherlands we use dates as d/m/Y. If I use this schema, it's not possible to filter dates due?
Do I need another plugin? I was looking at Bureacracy but then one can't aggregate data?
