I had dokuwiki installed on a Debian VM. I migrated that VM to a new host and dokuwiki totally broke. So I backed it up and created a new VM. Actually, at this point I've probably created 10 new VMs.
On a fresh, new install, I cannot login at all. I create a superuser, either manually or using the installer, and any attempt to login produces nothing. I get no errors. Just nothing happens, I get kicked back to the page I was on before and I am not logged in.
I get the same problem every time, with different Distros and different releases. Ubuntu 20.04, 18.04, and now Fedora Server. I tried CentOS but I had a host of other issues, and I'd prefer this machine be very light and quick which is why I'm trying to use Ubuntu and Fedora. I can import my data no problem, other than it's not locked behind the ACL as I would like.
I've searched through this forum and others and people who have this problem do what I did and install on different distros and eventually one works. I've tried adding the 'display_errors' setting to doku.php and that didn't produce any errors or output at all. I'm about to quit on dokuwiki and look at migrating to another solution, not that there are many.
