Looks like I'm too stupid to configure that thing. 😅
I try to get email subscriptions working and set up a bind account in AD to look up user attributes. In my local.protected.php I have:
$conf['plugin']['authad']['account_suffix'] = '@example.com';
$conf['plugin']['authad']['base_dn'] = 'dc=example,dc=net';
$conf['plugin']['authad']['domain_controllers'] = '10.0.0.1';
$conf['plugin']['authad']['admin_username'] = 'svcwiki@example';
$conf['plugin']['authad']['admin_password'] = 'supers3cr3t';
$conf['plugin']['authad']['use_ssl'] = 0;
$conf['plugin']['authad']['use_tls'] = 0;
$conf['plugin']['authad']['debug'] = 1;
I can connect with ldapsearch like this:
ldapsearch -v -x -h 10.0.0.1 -D "svcwiki@example" -w supers3cr3t -b "dc=example,dc=net" "(cn=svcwiki)" cn mail sn
and get the expected result, but dokuwiki pages show me an error "AD Auth: Bind to Active Directory failed. Check the login credentials and/or server details. AD said: Invalid credentials"
Could someone give me a hint what I'm doing wrong here? Or how to debug this further, because the error message doesn't really help.
