I set up a dokuwiki for our research group, and people are starting to come around and use it quite a bit. We have a bunch of data that we have to be able to visualize in a procedurally generated way. Basically, we have a bunch of files with data that we need to run python scritps to make graphs (radar charts).
I think it would make a lot of sense to have the "things" (compounds and/or receptors, in our case) we want to look at listed in a couple of table on our wiki, and use that to make the graphs (I'm using the sortablejs, and that would work nicely for this table as well). That is, clicking an entry should call a python script in the backend, and serve a pop-up with the graph.
I'm using plotly in python, and that's how it does by default, I run the python script, and it opens a browser to show the graph.
The reason for having the script run whenever people need to see the data is that we are continuously adding data points, so it wouldn't make sense to just run the script, and add the graphs as static images to the wiki.
Does anyone know if this is possible to have in dokuwiki, and if so, how to do it? I haven't been able to find anything that looks useful so far.
