Hello all . . .
I'm using the very useful 'xtern' plugin to help find dead external links.
Unfortunately, I don't understand the code well enough to find diagnose some seemingly odd behaviour. Here's what's happening :
Some external links are being marked with the 'link broken' tag, and display the 'xtern_xcluded.png' icon.
But, when I check the links, all works as it should, i.e. the external pages load perfectly well.
Here are some links which misbehave - they are all from quite high profile academic library sources.
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/anie.200602454
https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1029/2019AV000149
https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2019855118#sec-9
On my system, all show the 'xtern_xcluded.png' icon.
Would anyone know what the problem is? (p.s. I don't use the 'admin' version of the 'xtern' checker, just the one that checks the live pages)
Many thanks for any assistance.
