Hi!
Running a project under MoinMoin I am looking at DokuWiki to replace it. There are a few functionalities which might be missing, but Python 2.7 having reached EOL about 2 years ago and MoinMoin not coming up with anything is forcing the move.
Now as I'll be putting my hands in the work, I was wondering if it was possible to generate a wiki page from an external form:
- I have teams registering events in Country - City on a specific date
- They will fill a form with some related information including Country / City specified above
Can I generate 3 pages once the form has been validated with the following logic:
If Country page doesn't exist create Country page based on Country Template
If City page doesn't exist create City page based on City Template
If Event page doesn't exist create Event page based on Event Template + some details from the form
else inform registrant that this event has already been registered
The form will be running on the same machine as DokuWiki so I could probably somehow hack DokuWiki to create those pages manually. But is there a cleaner way to do that?
Thank you.
Fred
