Okay, I forgot to mention, you need to also install a plugin, which provides information about currently logged in user, like the do plugin.
Then you can hide the page menu if the user does not belong to the permitted group. The following code goes into: /conf/userscript.js
:
setTimeout(function() {
var $permitted_group = [
'user1',
'user2',
'user3'
];
if ( !( jQuery.inArray( JSINFO[plugin_do_user], $permitted_group ) ) ) {
jQuery( "#dokuwiki__pagetools" ).hide();
}
}, 300);
In the array $permitted_group you need to drop all the usernames of the permitted group.
Limitations: This is not the most secure solution. It would be better to implement this in PHP with a similar approach, using $INFO[user]. But, unfortunately, there is no /conf/usercode.php
;-)
