Hi,
I had since long the problem, that I never make big changes, so I nearly always disable the CheckBox "Small changes" (id="edit__minoredit") above the editor windows, when editing pages.
A while ago, I could pre-check the checkbox in the code (hardcoded) but after every update it was gone.
Now it seems not that easy anymore to check it by default, the code changed a lot there, I dont find it anymore.
At the moment, I just deleted the whole part of that CheckBox and the comments about the changes (as I dont need that), in:
inc/Ui/Editor.php
this is the part I delete / comment out, starts in line 118:
// add a textbox for edit summary
$form->addTagOpen('div')->addClass('summary');
$input = $form->addTextInput('summary', $lang['summary'])
->attrs(['size' => '50', 'tabindex' => '2'])
->id('edit__summary')->addClass('edit')
->val($SUM);
$input->getLabel()->attr('class', 'nowrap');
// adds a checkbox for minor edits for logged in users
if ($conf['useacl'] && $INPUT->server->str('REMOTE_USER')) {
$form->addHTML(' ');
$form->addCheckbox('minor', $lang['minoredit'])->id('edit__minoredit')->addClass('nowrap')->val('1');
}
$form->addTagClose('div'); // close div summary class
I asked about this long ago: http://forum.dokuwiki.org/post/32778
But this was closed, I should open another thread (here it is).
Is there a way, to check the minor edits CheckBox by default, or deactivate it by a setting (which is not gone, after an update)?
Thanks.
