I want to add the following to the form before the SUBMIT button:
<div style="display:none"><input type="checkbox" name="terms"> I agree to the Terms of Service</div>
I think it needs to be made to inc/Ui/UserRegister.php ... but I don't understand the syntax.
This usually stops all bots. Hidden from display by humans, bots "see" and tick it. After submission, something like
if(isset($_POST['terms'])) exit('No bots allowed! LOL');
can be used.
I'm currently getting hammered by hundreds of registrations and posts a day, and this would stop it. I have used this simple technique for years, and it's amazing how effective it is --usually 100%.
Thanks.
