I think you need to read and learn more about the dfference between namespaces and pages.

To me it sounds like you have the following setup:
- start is your start page (in the root namespace)
- one:two is a page called "two" in the namespace "one"
With hierarchical breadcrumbs it would be represented as you describe as start > one > two.
When your {{pagehere}} syntax is on one:two it will create a new page in the same namespace (which is "one"). Seems to work fine.
Leon3174 I would also like the tool to link the newly created page in this case to start/one/two/ so that you can switch from /two/ directly to /"desired page".
Then why mess with any buttons at all? Do it the wiki way. Create a link first, then follow that link to create the page.
