piratescribe I'm a new user to Dokuwiki so I apologize if this is a stupid question.
Hi, this is a very valid question, you can customize the appearance of your DokuWiki with Javascript!
Put the following code into /dokuwiki/conf/userscript.js
(create this file, if it does not exist yet):
setTimeout(function(){
jQuery("div.structaggregation").each(function(){
if ( jQuery(this).find('tbody').length == 0 ) {
jQuery(this).hide();
}
});
}, 800);
Close and restart your browser to see the effect.
The downside to it is the following: Javascript is executed by the client's (your) browser. It modifies the page AFTER the page is delivered from the server, so some timeout is needed, depending on your local page loading speed. If your browser is slow for any reason (like: too many tabs open), and pageload is late, Javascript misses the page and doesn't execute (or only partially). So you might have to dial in the timeout to something between 100 and 1000 milliseconds, also depending on the amout of data on your page. If necessary, this code can be made page-specific (by page ID) or to execute only in some namespace(s). The pro is, when you get it to work, it is update safe! Cheers!
