Hello 🙂
I saw this post from @andi about how the Data plugin is not abandoned but its maintenance is now limited to the minimum.
The documentation of Data already recommends switching to Struct, which AFAICT may not be a simple task and probably requires extensive work.
Someone shared a script to perform the migration from Data to Struct (mentioned by Andi both here and here ), but it seems like at least some ran into issues using it. If the script doesn't work for me I guess I'd be back to square one.
I have close to 10K pages with Data Entries which are aggregated in half a dozen of pages with Data Tables. I was wondering if I could temporarily have both Data and Struct installed and enabled on my wiki and then progressively convert my Data Entries into Struct Schemas and my Data Tables into Struct Tables. Let me know if you have done this or if you have an opinion on this topic.
Since Data still seems to work in Kaos (although it generates errors ), I also wonder how much of an issue it would be to just keep on using it as usual (I guess over time it will only become more problematic, like any other plugin that is no longer supported).
Thank you very much in advance for your input.
Best,
