Hi all,
After switching to Firefox 3, loading DokuWiki pages from the local machine took considerably longer than before, at least by a factor of 10, I'd guess. I finally got back to normal speed by disabling the Restore Scroll Position extension. Most pages from other sources did not seem to be affected, though.
I have not found any other reports about this, so may be the problem is influenced by some other parts of my configuration. These are the main ingredients: Windows 2000 SP4, Firefox 3.0 (de), Apache 2.2.8, PHP 5.2.6, DokuWiki 2008-05-05, Restore Scroll Position 0.5.9.10.
As suggested in
http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:tips:scrollposition, I tried to edit inc/actions.php by adding a line
$headers[] = 'Cache-Control: private, must-revalidate, max-age=0';
right after
$headers[] = 'Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8';
which is line 132 in DokuWiki 2008-05-05. I was expecting to see an additional header element in the DokuWiki page source, but did not. Even changing line 132 to
$headers[] = 'Content-Type: text/html';
didn't have any effect.
Unfortenately, I don't know anything about PHP. So what changes should I make to the DokuWiki sources to handle the scroll position, what results should I see in the HTML pages?
Thanks in advance,
Malte
