tidnuof Can someone comment on my acl.auth.php which will not execute wildcard user lines according to my expactation? What am i missing here? This is working: # acl.auth.php # <?php exit()?> # Don't modify the lines above # # Access Control Lists # # Auto-generated by install script # Date: Thu, 15 Feb 2007 12:21:54 +0100 * @ALL 0 * @user 8 leden:* @user 0 leden:reb reb 16 leden:reb:* reb 16 But I like the last lines to be read as follows, in order to create wildcard user private namespaces / pages instead of reb leden:@user@ @user@ 16 leden:@user@:* @user@ 16 This will not work, everything will be editable for all users, despite user namespace. Again what am i missing here? Thanks for your reply, Rob

geckon Did uppercase do the job? I'm trying to solve similar problem and in my case the wildcards don't work. I've created a new thread that should (hopefully) solve my problem.
turnermm See http://www.dokuwiki.org/acl?s[]=wildcard#user_wildcards @USER@ was changed to %USER%. Also, see the caveat on that page about resetting acl in lemming using the GUI acl manager.
