Hello, I've been using Dokuwiki for 1-2 weeks now and am loving the idea of a wiki -- it is like mapping my brain. I have a question that I'm sure many of you might be able to help with.
What do you all find works best as far as naming pages? Are longer names okay? (ex: "Roasted Salmon with Red Peppers"), or do you find that shorter names work better? (ex: "SalmonRedPepper).
Something to consider in my use of the wiki is a somewhat requent necessity to rename pages. I'm using the Page Name/Remove plugin for this, which has been a bit confusing. For instance, when I rename a page, I find that all internal links on the page become changed from "This Link Style" to "this_link_style". This has been quite annoying, as I'm a bit OCD about things being consistent.
Any ideas about some good habits to develop early on? I'm thinking that I might start migrating toward very short, one/two-word links, as much as that idea irks me. (But, even then, I could use the Salmon with Red Pepper approach to displaying links.
Thanks for any help you all can offer.

hi,
I also use your last suggestion.
Maybe, you can use th useheading option? This way, your first heading will be the name of the page... but I don't know whether you still can ues the page move plugin
