Have a look at the source of the plugin page, the very first data block, also the plugin/template overviews are generated with those data sets.
Hmm I've played with it and I can't seem to get it to work properly. It was filtering properly initially but then seemed to stop(!).
Here is the markup I am using to test it:
---- dataentry ----
Title : Cambridge Law Journal
Address_url : http://www.cambridgelawjournal.com
Description : lorem ipsum dolor sit amet
category_tags : C, journals, periodicals
----
---- dataentry ----
Title : Oxford Law Journal
Address_url : http://www.oxfordlawjournal.com
Description : lorem ipsum dolor sit amet
category : O, journals, periodicals
----
---- datatable ----
cols : Title, Address_url
headers : Title, Address
filter : Title=Cambridge*
----
That doesn't work. It's just a test obviously. Ideally I want Category to be a tag field so that each category can have its own page, but filtering doesn't seem to work on tag fields (I tried "filter : Category_tags" after changing the Category field to be a tag field, but that didn't work).
Any thoughts? Am I misunderstanding the plugin?
