One of the things I've notice about dokuwiki is that it places the section/subsection 'edit' link/button
below the section being edited. However with all the templates, including the default and monobook, this places the 'edit' link effectively on the same line as the heading for the following section.
I.e., if you go to
http://www.dokuwiki.org/features
you'll see that in order to edit the "High Usability" section, you have to click on the edit link/button on the "Access Control and Anti-Spam Measures" heading!
In contrast, if you go to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki
you'll see that in order to edit the "Performance" section, you simply click on the edit link on the "Performance" section.
I like Dokuwiki's file based approach, and with the monobook template I can get a reasonable approximation of mediawiki's default style. But every new dokuwiki user I've watched makes the same mistake of clicking on the edit link/button on the heading of the section they want to edit, and then being baffled when they are presented with the content from the section above.
Is there any way to make the edit link appear above the section to be edited?
