Hi Myron,
at first i`d like to thank you very very much for releasing fckgLite. Im looking for "it" for 2 years or so. After some starting issues now it works :) (using IILS Webserver on Win2003 in a very absolete IT structure).
But now im missing some icons like FormatTable,TextColor und BackgroundColor.
You are very welcome. I'm glad you could get it working on your Windows machine. I have been experimenting with the Windows install and hope to have something easy to use for everyone.
The icons you refer to are in DokuWikiFCK, which is the Perl version and supports many more of the FCKeditor's graphic features. fckgLite only supports features that are supported by DokWiki itself. It saves its files as DokuWiki files and they can be opened and edited in any DokuWiki whether or not fckgLite is installed.
And for the reason that i dont have aspell installed (it not possible here) i`d like to uncomment the language spell check. Do you have some hints for me ?
You would have to make edits to two files. First you can remove the spellcheck icon by deleting the reference to it in \plugins\fckg\fckeditor\fckconfig.js. Starting at about line 360, you will find the tool bar definition:
FCKConfig.ToolbarSets["Dokuwiki"]
You will find this line there:
['Cut','Copy','Paste','PasteText', 'SpellCheck', 'Find'],
Just remove 'SpellCheck':
['Cut','Copy','Paste','PasteText', 'Find'],
You have to be careful, because Javascript can be very fussy about commas and brackets.
Then go to \plugins\fckg\action\edit.php. At about line 338 you will find:
<input class="button" type="button" value = "Language"
title="Select language for spell checker"
onclick="aspell_window();"
/>
Change it to:
<input class="button" type="button" value = "Language"
title="Select language for spell checker"
style = "display:none"
onclick="aspell_window();"
/>
That is, just add the one line: style = "display:none"
i found one "bug". If i change some text on the wiki site and go to 'FCK Preview' and after the preview i press the Button 'FCK Edit' all changes ive made are lost.(Using IE7.0.6)
I think what happened is this. You went to 'FCK Preview' and clicked the "Preview" button on that screen. That will cause you to lose whatever hadn't been previously saved to a file. The idea of this screen is to be able to go into a standard DokuWiki editor and make changes and save them or to make sure that what you see in the FCKeditor is what you will get once your work is saved. In DokuWikiFCK the "FCK Preview" screen is only available to a limited group of users, because of its dangers.
