ilago I am using Dokuwiki in three different locations. Two are installed in a hosted environment using Apache and one is running using Dokuwiki on a Stick. They are all 2008-05-05 I am using the Arctic template on the two hosted wikis, but not on the local wiki. Images will not display on any of them in Firefox, IE7 or Konqueror. IE7 and Konqueror show a placeholder. Firefox displays the image name. This is the code I've used in all cases {{wiki:helplinelogo.png}} Would html work better? All images are located in data/media in the dokuwiki directory I can open CPanel and get the locations for images on the other two wikis, but they were uploaded from the editing screen. I did an earlier prototype on a USB flash drive and it displays the image correctly using the same image with exactly the same syntax. I have not edited any files. I have read every thread I can find on this forum. I don't fully understand everything, but what I can check I have. I have read all the relevant parts of the FAQ pages and the wiki, but I'm a bit lost on some of the more complex stuff. The image will display if opened directly in firefox or IE on windows and in Konqueror on linux. If I write a test web page including the image, it displays correctly in all browsers. I need the dokuwiki on a stick installation to work for a presentation I need to give next. I'd like to be able to have the images because it looks much more professional. Any help would be appreciated.
martin1 Try this syntax if the image is located in "data/media": {{:helplinelogo.png}} If you want to use your syntax you must locate your image in "data/media/wiki". Martin
ilago Thank you so much. That worked. Just something so small that can be so frustrating to try and find :)
martin1 You can also use the image button in the editor, this button also generates you this code ;) Martin
