I am currently using dokuwiki-2008-05-05 and template-dokubook-2008-05-04 and decided it is time to upgrade to the latest versions. So I setup a test wiki using dokuwiki-2009-02-14b and template-dokubook-2009-02-08 on a Windows 2003 machine. When I browse to the test wiki with IE 7 or IE 8 everything looks good initially. But when I login the navigation box gets larger and the box runs over the search box title (search). Also the edit button in the navigation box is misaligned and runs out of the bottom of the navigation box, see the Doku.jpg file I am attaching. If I browse to the the test wiki using FireFox everything is properly aligned when I login.
If I install template-dokubook-2008-05-04 instead of 2009-02-08 the navigation box does not overrun search and the edit button is positioned inside the navigation box.
I'd really like to use the newer version of the dokubook template. Is there any way to fix these IE alignment problems?

Have found this problem can be resolved when using IE 8 by turning off "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" in the IE 8 Compatibility View Settings dialog. You open the dialog by selecting the Compatibility View Settings item on the Tools menu. "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" is turned on by default in IE 8 and makes the browser run like IE 7. So this is still a problem when running IE 7
